CARA Société d’Avocats is an independent law firm founded in 2017 to meet the expectations of a rapidly evolving market and to offer tailor-made expertise in the strategic areas of Transfer Pricing, International and French corporate Taxation and Intellectual property tax.
Fiercely driven by the desire to innovate and think out of the box, our attorneys place the client at the heart of our entrepreneurial mindset. It is therefore no coincidence that our brand name, “CARA”, means “friend, relationship” in Gaelic. It symbolises our personal commitment to our clients, our partners, and the international network of experts we are affiliated to.

Stephen Hawking
Terence WILHELM is an attorney at law and holds a PhD in tax law from the University of Strasbourg. After having worked in the Transfer Pricing department of Fidal Direction International (Paris), he joined Ernst&Young Paris (EY) in 2008. There, he developed and spearheaded the Transfer Pricing department for the South-East part of France from the Lyon office, from 2012 to 2017, as an Executive Director.
Terence founded CARA Société d’Avocats in 2017 with the strong ambition to form a disruptive firm, independent and close to its clients, capable of offering its state-of-the-art expertise in strategic areas.
In the framework of his experience, Terence has handled numerous tax cases, both in France and abroad. He also has won several landmark Transfer Pricing cases before the courts. He is a regular speaker at several training organisations, law schools and management schools. Terence regularly shares his expertise in several French and foreign expert journals and his manual released in 2009 remains one of the few dedicated to transfer pricing.

Oscar Wilde
Morgane STEVENON graduated from the Paris Bar School in 2017. She works in the field of corporate and individual tax law and assists both individuals and companies to efficiently structure their income and assets, to cope with tax planning and to protect their interests in the event of a tax audit.
Morgane acquired her skills in tax law firstly during her university studies, which culminated in obtaining a DJCE (Master degree) from IDEA in Lyon and a Certificate of Specialised Studies in Tax Law from the University of Montpellier. She then mastered her lawyer skills and fine-tuned her technical knowledge during her various professional experiences within Lyon area law firms run by lawyers recognised for their expertise.
Showing a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Morgane chose to join the CARA group as a Partner in February 2021, in order to develop a new department specialized in French and international tax law.
Creative and cheerful, Morgane will support all your projects with dynamism and enthusiasm.
